This notice explains what SandStats stores in your browser, why, and what you can decide about it. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.
Who is responsible
The controller for this processing is the operator of SandStats. For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights below, write to artem.barsikcool@gmail.com.
What is stored

Legal basis
Strictly necessary storage runs on legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where it serves a feature you asked for, on the contract with you (art. 6(1)(b)). It is exempt from the consent requirement of art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
Analytics runs only on your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Refusing costs you nothing — every feature of the site works the same either way.
Who else sees the data
Anonymous usage measurement is provided by Vercel Inc. acting as a processor. No data is sold, no advertising network is used and no profiles are built. Where data is transferred outside the EEA it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — obtain a copy of the data held about you (art. 15).
- Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected (art. 16).
- Erasure — have your data deleted (art. 17).
- Restriction — limit how your data is used (art. 18).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format (art. 20).
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 21).
- Withdrawal — take back your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it (art. 7(3)). This does not affect processing that was lawful before.
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (art. 77).
Change or withdraw your consent
Reopen the preferences at any time. Turning a category off stops it immediately; you can also erase the stored choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
